Ariana Grande, datter af forældre med italienske rødder, er født i Florida.
I maj 2014 udsendte Ariana en ny single "Problem", hvor rapperen Iggy Azalea medvirker.
Ariana er også skuespiller og har medvirket i filmen Swindle fra 2013 og flere tv-serier, ligesom hun har lagt stemme til Snowflake i tegnefilmen af samme navn.
Som bare 13-årig optrådte hun i musicalen 13 på Broadway.
Ariana har modtaget flere film- teater- og musikpriser for sit arbejde.
Hun har optrådt i Det Hvide Hus for Præcident Obama, hans kone og nogen gæster med et Covernummer af Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" samt hendes eget nummer "Tattooed Heart".
